Shivoo Koteshwar
Shivoo Koteshwar is a Director at Synopsys, the leading company in Electronic Design Automation industry. With more than 15 years of IC Design and EDA experience. He has been instrumental in setting up VLSI Center of Excellence in various schools and universities in India. He is also a part of EE Times Mentoring Roundtable initiative mentoring students/staff in Electronics Industry. Shivoo was instrumental in setting up Chowki (www.chowki.info), which is non-profit platform to bridge the gap between the industry, academia and student community
Dr. Parmeshwar Iyer
Prof. Parmeshwar Iyer brings a versatile background and a rich experience ranging from Biological and Architectural Engineering to management studies. He has held various positions including in several national level commmittees such as AICTE, IIM Kozikode, IISc Bangalore, and various eminent positions in different IITs. Currently he is a faculty member in the Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Science, Banagalore.
Dr.Swami Manohar
Dr. Swami Manohar was a co-founder and CEO of PicoPeta Simputers Pvt.Ltd. A PhD in Computer Science from Brown University, he has served as a faculty at the University of North Carolina for two years and then at the India Institute of Science(IISc), Bangalore, between 1990 to 2005. While at IISc, he co-invented the Simputer, was awarded the Dewang Mehta Award for Innovation in IT. He has contributed to research in Computer graphics, visualization, virtual reality and CAD for rapid protyping. He co-founded Strand Life sciences (formerly Strand Genomic), and String Labs, the first academic incubating company in India.
Prof. Shivaram Malavalli
Prof. Shivaram Malavalli with 25 years of Industrial and Research experience, especially developing Technocrat Entrepreneurs and supporting them during their establishment, sustenance and growth. He was the architect in the establishment, sustenance and growth of the first Science & Technology Entrepreneurs Park (STEP) in the country and today it has bagged the National Award, instituted by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, as “BEST STEP” in the country from among fourteen STEPs. He has been honored with various awards such as Bharat Nirman Excellence Award, Special Award consisting of a Citation and a Medal by WASME (World Association of Small & Medium Enterprises) for his meritorious accomplishment in diverse field of activities that immensely contributed to the nation’s progress.
